Week 1 Winner of our #craftedbytheoutdoors 52 Week Photo Contest is Noreen M. The winning photo was taken a little bit before New Years in Kodiak, Alaska on the Woodland trail.

-  Noreen M. @907 “The wind was blowing and and the waves were crashing hard upon the shore that day. The noise of the wind and the ocean were loud and muted a lot of what I had on my mind. It was a harsh but still, beautiful day.”

“I was having some internal conflicts with myself and the weather mirrored my emotions exactly. I instantly connected with this shot because sometimes we can feel like our problems are bigger than who we are. But when we are able to find light in the darkness while remaining in love and forgiveness, is when we can find true strength within ourselves. For me that’s what this shot represents, strength.”
