NORTHERN LIGHTS SHOW NOV. 12
The night of November 12, 2025 in Anchorage brought one of the most spectacular auroral displays in recent memory. Thanks to a powerful series of solar flares and coronal mass ejections, geomagnetic activity soared. We drove around town to some of the popular spots for viewing and most of them were pretty packed. Under chilly, clear skies, we all witnessed ribbons of green, pink, red and purple lights. This went on for hours. On this night, there were no bad views as long as you didn't have to much light pollution.
