Week 15 Winner

Luke Konarzewski @luke.konarzewski is our Week 15 Winner of the #craftedbytheoutdoors 52 Week Photo Contest. The photo of Mt. Huntington was taken flying around the Alaska Range.

Luke, originally from the flat lands of Wisconsin, decided after graduating from high school a semester early to buy a van, throw a bed in it and drive up to Alaska.

Luke Konarzewski - "This photo was taken during a flight seeing trip through the Alaska range in February of 2016. Pictured center frame is Mt. Huntington, the mountain of my mind. Ever since reading about the first ascent of Mt. Huntington in David Roberts phenomenal book "The Mountain of My Fear." I've been obsessed with this mountain. And that was the goal of the flight seeing trip, to fly around Mt. Huntington in all its glory. Although about seven thousand feet shorter than the much thought about Denali, Mt. Huntington is by far a more picturesque mountain. And I believe the most beautiful mountain in Alaska. And that's what I tried to convey in this photo. "
