Hanging With The Locals Event
Kaladi Brothers Coffee put on a special event "Hanging With The Locals" at their Titlewave location. We're always excited when Kaladi reaches out for a collab. This time it was for a t-shirt where people could tie dye.Thank you to Alaska Waste who jumped on board and sponsored the t-shirt. The tie dye event was for the first 200 people who showed up. All 200 shirts were gone within the first hour! The event was filled with kids of all ages along with adults who had never tie dyed before. We had a few experienced tie dye pros that definitely created some crazy designs. Check out the recap video and photos from the event.

Behind The Design: Looney Tunes Tee
In the early 90s the Bugs and Taz Kriss Kross Looney Tunes tee was one of the most iconic fashion moments in Urban and Hip-Pop culture. Like most trends it crossed over to suburban America. It seemed like every retailer or mom and pop store in malls was either selling the official or a knockoff of the tee. You couldn't go anywhere without seeing someone wearing one. We wanted to put our twist on this iconic design with elements of Alaska and local fashion trends.

Dimond High School graduate, Mario Beats is a go-getter, and a young Hip Hop hit maker who has worked with some of the biggest names in the music industry. Mario Beats produced one of The Migos early hits “Cross the Country.” He's also produced tracks for Young Thug, Ralo, and Keyshia Cole, as well as a host of Alaska's best local talent Tayy Tarantino, and Duckman.
