With a solid foundation in drawing, she has focused a majority of her work in watercolor but has experience in oil, acrylic, ceramics, and textiles. If you’re involved in the music scene in Anchorage, you’re sure to have heard of Susynn Snyder aka Suz. Her career has spanned a decade in the music industry, starting as a DJ for KWHL, a local radio station. Now she invests her energy into being the Marketing and Entertainment director for Williwaw Social, the most frequented venue in downtown Anchorage. She has brought many nationally known acts to Alaska, including Capitol Cities, Grouplove, Blues Traveler, Diplo, and Atmosphere. This weekends headliner at Williwaw Social is Hawthorne Heights, a band close to Susynn’s heart. Susynn is a pillar in our music scene, and someone who is true to her Alaskan roots, with a passion for bringing quality music acts to our state.
