Sports enthusiast and local KTUU Anchor Kari Bustamante has been the go-to for most of us when it comes to keeping up with local sports and also entertained us during the summer with her very popular Fishing Report segment. This week’s Supply The Sounds she put together her list of tunes that has been the soundtrack to her life through high school athletics to being a local favorite as a KTUU Channel 2 Morning Edition co-anchor.

Week 2 Winner. The photo is from a public use cabin in Denali State Park. The aurora forecast looked pretty good so I decided to head up to this cabin to do some (solo + dog) aurora chasing for a few nights.

Victor Mangrobang aka DJ Victomone has been a staple not only in the club DJ scene but also the Alaska Hip Hop community as a battle DJ and Bboy. For this week's Supply The Sounds he shares some of his favorite tracks that has influenced him in his journey as a DJ and Bboy.

The long and dark Alaskan winters can cause the best of us to get a little bitter and cold hearted but at the end of the day we just can't help but love Alaska for what it is. S/O to the @kaladibrotherscoffee family for letting @the49thsupplyco hang out for the day as we learn more about Dale Tran's New Year's Day Of Giving. All January 1st, 2018 beverage sales at Anchorage, and Wasilla Kaladi locations will be donated to Abused Women’s Aid in Crisis (AWAIC), whose mission is to help those affected by domestic violence. By the end of the day, Kaladi along with it's business partners had raised $60,000 for AWAIC. Such a great way to bring in 2018! #nydgiving #kbc4lyfe

We all know Alaska is a special place, and part of what makes it so special are the inhabitants of this great state. Some of us are life long Alaskans, some came for vacation and never left, and those that migrated here to seek out new adventures. One thing is for sure- we ain't shy about professing our love for home base. Whenever we travel to the states people get all starry eyed when we tell them where we came from, followed by a slough of questions about whether or not we live in igloos or if it's true that the sun never sets in the summer time. No ya'll. We don't all live in igloos, and the sun does "set" in the summer time- it just doesn't feel like it. This week's #oneanddone is for those that are hardly home, but always reppin for AK.
